We are continuing to run all of our sessions on the 3 delivery methods – Focused, CPD Workshops and ‘A Day in the Life…’ – please see our ‘About Us’ page for further information including pricing.
This year we have separated the sessions into types, to make finding the right session for you and your teams even easier; the 10 different areas we will be covering this year are: EYFS, Early Numeracy, Early Literacy, Observation and Planning, EAL, Enabling Environments, SEND, Working woth Boys, ICT, Working with 2 Year Olds.

The NNSP are keen to offer all Settings and Practitioners maximum opportunity to access their Learning and Development Programme. Fundraising Training for Nursery Schools, Schools and Pre-Schools (Grant Funding Skills)
Croyland Nursery School, 12.30pm to 4.15pm
Securing additional funding and resources is becoming more important than ever for schools, nursery schools and pre-schools.
The NNSP are hosting this course with which will enable Nursery schools, schools and pre-schools to learn good practice relating to fundraising, for example, how to write an exceptional grant funding application, understand what grant funding sources are available and how to be persuasive and confident when approaching local businesses for additional cash or ‘in kind’ resources. The relaxed and informative session will help you prepare an application or appeal to stand the best chance of success. There will be an opportunity for delegates to share successful fundraising ideas and learn about new ones.
Grant Funding Skills Limited is managed and directed by Stephen Wright who has over 12 years’ experience working as an External Funding Adviser within the public sector.

Governance for Early Years in Nursery Schools and Primary Schools
Governors are one of the largest volunteer forces in the country and have an important part to play in raising school standards. The role of the Governing Board is absolutely key to the effectiveness of a school. Ofsted has continually noted that the most effective schools demonstrate effective leadership and management, including that of the Governing Board.
The NNSP are working in partnership with Northamptonshire County Council Governor Services to provide governor learning and development sessions with a specific emphasis to the Early Years Foundation Stage in Schools. These sessions will be of specific relevance to governing bodies within Maintained Nursery Schools, Primary and Infant Schools. Dates and contents to follow. Working in Partnership with Fairfields Teaching School Alliance
NNSP: Northamptonshire Early Education Partnership is delighted to be working with Fairfields Teaching School Alliance over the forthcoming year. Using collaboration, they are able to offer both bespoke specialist support and CPD programmes to support teachers, practitioners and assistants working in Early Years.
A specialist NQT programme for Teachers within Early Years. The course will offer key practical strategies, underpinned by the experience of our specialists on pedagogy, supporting progress in the EYFS setting, leadership and management in early years and data tracking.

Professional Development Network Meetings for EYFS Staff, Teachers, NQT’s and HLTA’s
A unique opportunity for Senior Early Years Workers, Teachers, NQT’s, Managers, Owners, and HLTA’s to meet at one of the NNSP’s Outstanding Nurseries biannually and engage, network, share and swap ideas with other professionals from across the county.
Each meeting has a theme and is a platform for practitioners to be involved in discussions around this theme along with current issues within the Early Years Foundation Stage. These sessions will also offer an opportunity to view the Outstanding Nursery without children present; therefore photographs of the environment can be taken.

‘Transitions and Report Writing’
As your rising fives prepare to move on to ‘big school’ or your reception-ites prepare to move to key stage 1 and beyond, the task of report writing and assessment working towards a smooth transition begins. How do you approach report writing? How do you work towards a smooth transition? Share examples, discuss the hurdles you may face, and impart your stories of success.
£10 per person or £25 for 3 staff from the same setting. Refreshments served.
Our 2017-2018 Learning Timetable includes a diversity of excellent ‘in setting’ visits. These aim to provide broad generic support through to focused support that share personal guidance and experience from practice as well as offering professional development workshops and opportunities for bespoke sessions for settings and individual mentoring.
