Formed in 2011 the NNSP was developed as a programme of Early Years Education and Care to offer support for the Professional Development of Early Years Practitioners and Teachers.
The NNSP provide learning and development opportunities and events for ALL Practitoners, Teachers, TAs and HLTAs working across the EYFS in ANY setting including Primary Schools, Nursery Schools, Preschools, Childminders, Children Centres and Day Nurseries.
“Our programme is based upon shared views of Early Year’s Education and Care along with shared beliefs in the principles of Early Years aiming to deliver a shared approach that brings nursery teachers and practitioners together in a programme specifically tailored to Early Years.”
Every visit and workshop has the child at the heart of it, by providing child led learning that strives for excellence. The principles of Early Years, as encapsulated in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum will be explored and linked in to all visits and workshops by considering the Characteristics of Effective Learning and the Areas of Learning.
The NNSP’s shared approach to ‘in setting’ visits and workshops allow you the opportunity to really explore all aspects of practice in other settings.
